Bespoke canvases and portraits

The pet portraits below were painted from a photo, you can choose to have your pet painted in a traditional, contemporary or pop art style. You will notice some of the portraits have had colours changed, this really ads a modern contemporary twist to your pet portrait. I also paint child portraits and some pictures will be uploaded shortly. Prices for my portraits start from as little as £40 for a hand drawn pet/human portrait on A3 or A4 paper which you can frame yourself. Usually if you email me a photo of the person/animal you want drawn before midday I will be able to post the drawing out 1st class the next day, so these are great as last minute gifts and are a really special present for someone. I also paint on 10'' x 12'' canvas sheets which are £60 each plus £4 postage for a bespoke painting from a photo which you can either email or post me.  A stretched canvas over a wooden frame painted of 18'' x 24'' is £195 plus postage and my favourite, very dramatic and eyecatching bespoke hand painted canvas of 30'' x 40'' are £360 plus postage. My canvases are really popular and I send them worldwide. I was let lose on this painting to do whatever I wanted as long as it featured a Red Setter. If you look closely you will notice she is made up of all the colours of the rainbow Click here to view landscape image

betty boop 5

Betty Boop was commissioned for a lady who wanted a special present for her mothers birthday. I came up with some ideas after we discussed the type of things her mother liked. We decided on Betty Boop as she is from the same era and has some similar personality traits. I put Betty in a glass and added glitter to make it more interesting.

Kung Foo Panda

This canvas was commissioned by two very proud grandparents. They wanted something unusual for their first grandchild that could be kept forever. They thought about having a mural although decided that a canvas could be kept a suprise until the special day.

stone lion

This painting was commissioned for Steve Tomlin who owns Minchinghampton Architechtural Salvage Company in the Cotswolds. I took the idea from his logo which is a small black and white sketch of the lion. I chose to use contrasting colours purple and yellow to make the lion really stand out.

Modern Marylin

The idea of this painting was taken from an old black and white photo of Marylin Monroe. I wanted to put a modern twist on the photo so i changed the colours and made it much more striking. This canvas is three foot by four foot.

Daisy Dot - Alternative Pet Portrait

My brief for this pet portrait was to paint Daisy in this pose and not to use yellow or blue. I decided red hues would suit her best as she is a girl and such a sweet pup. I think the colours work really well and they were extremely pleased. Pls see landscape Click here to view landscape image
